I am not a big fan of lettering tattoos. Mainly because people keep using generic computer fonts for large paragraphs without realizing that tattoos age and small text blurs. That and it is some giant bear of a fad. I always seem to hear people say “I want a tattoo” and someone else replies “ohmygawd get the word ‘fighter’ or ‘love’ or a paragraph long quote on your wrist so cute ohmygawd”. Which makes me hurt in my soul.

But the above are done by Norm at Will Rise Tattoo, Los Angeles, California. And I like them. Hand drawn, personalized design, custom, and original lettering. Not some font designed for flat white computer screens and made generic for mass consumerism in cyberspace. Your skin is not a computer screen, don’t put computer fonts on it.
